The Management College of Southern Africa began liaising with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) from early 1997 to develop an accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree that has a South African focus but is, at the same time, linked to international theory and best practice.

Two and a half years later, after much research and consultation with national and international academics, MANCOSA secured accreditation for the Postgraduate Certificate in Management,

Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, the Masters Degree in Business Administration and several other programmes with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

The Management College of Southern Africa has also been registered by the Department of Education as an accredited Private Higher Education Institution with degree awarding powers in terms of Section 53,6 and 64 of the Higher Education Act (No 101 of 1997).

We are thus proud to be one of the select few Private Higher Education institutions that has successfully met the stringent registration criteria set by the Department of Education. Our qualifications thus have the status of national and international recognition. This has given us even greater encouragement to increase our overall quality of service to new levels of excellence.

Students enrolled on the MANCOSA programmes also qualify for membership of the International Academy of Management in the United Kingdom.
